Audio Bibles and Jesus Film Projectors Needed

Can you imagine NOT being able to read?

Many of the countries that our pastor partners live in have high rates of illiteracy. For instance, in Benin, adult literacy is just 47%-51.4%; in Guinea, it is just 45.3%; and in Sierra Leone, it is 48.6%. Out in the remote bush areas where most of our partners serve, the literacy rates are often even lower. This reality is important to the spread of the Gospel because less than half of the people who might receive a Bible cannot read it! Therefore, other means of sharing God's word must be used. Audio Bibles are a practical solution for this; however their cost can prohibit the sharing of these incredible devices. Momentum in Missions works with Renew World Outreach to purchase mobile Jesus Film projectors and solar audio Bibles that we provide for our ministry partners. There are 2 audio Bibles available to purchase at the current time and the cost is $37 (Arrow) and $59 (Torch).

The Arrow is a solar powered device that lets you listen to the Audio Bible and easily copy it on to cell phones, and it can also share files like apps and videos. The Arrow has an adapter that can plug into a cell phone to download this content. The Torch is a larger, waterproof device with a flashlight, lantern, charger, and speaker to play the Audio Bible. Thankfully, both devices are available in numerous languages, so we can order them in the local languages and tribal dialects that our partners live and serve in.

The same is true with the mobile Jesus Film projectors. We can order them in multiple languages so people can see and hear the story of Jesus in their own heart language. Momentum in Missions has provided a few pastors with mobile Jesus Film projectors and they are an INCREDIBLE method of evangelism. Some of our pastors are holding 3 day outreaches using the Jesus Film and so many are coming to saving knowledge of Christ!
